Probably the undisputed king of the porcellio, Slow to establish but once started they make excellent custodians, requiring a bit more space due to their larger size. very maternal and mothers can often be seen caring for their brood. very good display and very active even during the day once settled.

Humidity is not your friend with this species, they like it Very dry!

This is Porcellio expansus, brown to grey colouring with a large white serrated fringe, a large isopod that prefers life on the dryer side.
