⚠️ Shipping Update – Heatwave Delays

Due to the ongoing UK heatwave, we've temporarily paused shipping of all live livestock and plants to ensure they arrive safely.

The good news is that temperatures are forecast to drop significantly next week, and we'll be resuming dispatches.

Current dispatch schedule:

  • Orders placed 29th June – 5th July: Dispatching Monday.
  • Orders placed 6th July – 12th July: Dispatching Tuesday & Wednesday.
  • New orders placed from today: Dispatching from 27th July.

We've built up a large backlog during the heatwave, so we're bringing in additional staff and implementing a new workflow to get orders out as quickly as possible.

Description

The Green Penny Fern ( Lemmaphyllum microphyllum ) is a charming miniature fern, prized for its tiny round fronds that resemble green pennies. Creeping slowly over wood, stone, or moss, it creates a lush, naturalistic look that’s perfect for terrariums, vivariums, and paludariums.

This species thrives in cool to warm, humid environments with indirect light. It prefers to be mounted on cork bark, driftwood, or rock with a moisture-retentive substrate around the roots, though it can also adapt to soil planting in high-humidity enclosures. Its compact size makes it an ideal choice for smaller terrariums or as a delicate accent plant in larger setups.
